Job Title: Junior Automation Test Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Automation Test Engineer to join our partner organization. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This position is ideal for early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on experience in QA automation and testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Report, track, and document defects and issues using defect management tools
Maintain and update automated test suites for ongoing projects
Participate in code reviews, test planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure software meets performance, security, and usability standards
Assist in creating test documentation and reports for stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, or related internships/projects
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Exposure to performance or API testing
