Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Application Support Monitoring Engineer to support application monitoring and incident management. In this role, you will track system alerts, analyze logs, and ensure smooth application performance.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor application performance and system alerts
Analyze logs and identify potential issues
Respond to incidents and escalate when necessary
Maintain monitoring tools and configurations
Collaborate with IT and development teams
Track performance metrics and generate reports
Maintain documentation of monitoring processes
Identify patterns and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards
Support continuous monitoring and optimization efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in application monitoring, IT support, or operations roles
Basic understanding of monitoring tools and system logs
Familiarity with operating systems and applications
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of incident management processes
Exposure to DevOps practices
