Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Transplant Coordinator Nurse (RN) to manage and coordinate transplant patient care. In this role, you will oversee the transplant process, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate transplant patient care and procedures
Evaluate and prepare patients for transplant eligibility
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams
Monitor patient status pre- and post-transplant
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Educate patients and families about transplant procedures
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
Coordinate donor matching and transplant logistics
Support follow-up care and long-term patient monitoring
Facilitate communication between all stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–5 years of experience in transplant coordination or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Wisconsin
Strong knowledge of transplant processes and patient care
Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in complex healthcare environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in transplant units or specialty care
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of organ donation and transplant regulations
Strong critical thinking and patient management skills
