Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Critical Care Float Nurse (RN) to provide care across various critical care units. In this role, you will support ICU teams, manage complex patient cases, and respond to changing patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care across ICU and critical care units
Monitor patient conditions and vital signs
Administer medications and advanced treatments
Assist in emergency and life-support procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Adapt quickly to different unit environments
Respond to patient condition changes promptly
Support patient recovery and stabilization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–5 years of experience in ICU or critical care nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Nebraska
Strong knowledge of critical care and ICU procedures
Excellent clinical decision-making and adaptability
Ability to work in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a float nurse or multi-unit support
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
