Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Pediatric Ward Support Nurse (RN) to provide care for children admitted to hospital wards. In this role, you will assist in patient monitoring, administer treatments, and support overall pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to pediatric ward patients
Monitor patient conditions and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist in daily patient care and comfort
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with pediatricians and healthcare teams
Educate families on patient care and recovery
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Maintain a safe and supportive care environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in pediatric or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of pediatric care practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in hospital ward environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pediatric wards or hospital settings
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong patient monitoring and coordination skills
