Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Systems Migration Support Engineer to assist in system migration projects. In this role, you will support data transfers, environment setup, and ensure minimal disruption during migrations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing system migrations
Support data migration and validation processes
Configure and set up new environments
Monitor migration activities and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
Maintain documentation of migration processes
Ensure compliance with IT and security standards
Track migration progress and performance metrics
Support testing and post-migration validation
Improve migration workflows and efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in system migration, IT support, or infrastructure roles
Basic understanding of system migration and data transfer processes
Familiarity with operating systems and networking concepts
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud migrations (AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with migration tools and automation
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of database migration concepts
Relevant certifications such as AWS or Azure (preferred)
