Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Environment Monitoring Engineer to support monitoring of application environments and system performance. In this role, you will track alerts, analyze logs, and ensure smooth operations across environments.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor application and system environments for performance issues
Analyze logs and alerts to identify potential problems
Respond to incidents and escalate when necessary
Maintain monitoring tools and configurations
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams
Track performance metrics and generate reports
Maintain documentation of monitoring processes
Identify patterns and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards
Support continuous monitoring and optimization

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in monitoring, IT support, or software operations roles
Basic understanding of monitoring tools and system logs
Familiarity with operating systems and applications
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of incident management processes
Exposure to DevOps practices
