Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Renal Therapy Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients undergoing dialysis and renal treatments. In this role, you will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and support overall kidney care management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing renal therapy
Administer dialysis treatments and monitor patient response
Assess patient conditions and report changes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with nephrologists and healthcare teams
Educate patients on kidney care and treatment plans
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and safety standards
Monitor dialysis equipment and ensure proper functioning
Support patient comfort and safety during procedures
Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in dialysis or renal care nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Tennessee
Strong knowledge of renal therapy and dialysis procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in clinical environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in dialysis centers or nephrology units
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong patient monitoring and critical care skills
Certification in nephrology nursing (preferred)
