Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Build Validation Engineer to support build testing and validation processes. In this role, you will verify software builds, identify issues, and ensure readiness for deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Validate software builds and release packages
Execute test cases to ensure build quality
Identify defects and report issues to development teams
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams
Maintain documentation of validation processes
Support CI/CD pipeline validation activities
Analyze build logs and troubleshoot failures
Ensure compliance with quality and release standards
Track validation metrics and performance
Improve build validation workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, or development roles
Basic understanding of software build and release processes
Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of automation testing frameworks
Exposure to Agile methodologies
