Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to support neonatal care services. In this role, you will assist in monitoring newborns, provide clinical support, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for infants.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in providing care for neonatal patients
Monitor vital signs and infant conditions
Support nursing staff in NICU procedures
Administer basic care under supervision
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with neonatologists and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Respond to changes in patient condition promptly
Support families with guidance and care information
Maintain a safe and sterile care environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in neonatal or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Iowa
Basic knowledge of neonatal care practices
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in high-acuity environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in NICU settings
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong patient monitoring and critical care skills
Commitment to patient-centered neonatal care
