Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatric Ward Nurse (RN) to provide care for children admitted to the hospital. In this role, you will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and support recovery in a pediatric ward environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to pediatric patients
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on care and recovery
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Respond to medical emergencies promptly
Maintain a safe and child-friendly environment
Support patient recovery and well-being
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in pediatric or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of pediatric care and nursing practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pediatric wards or children’s hospitals
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
