Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Release Support Engineer to assist in release management and deployment support. In this role, you will help coordinate releases, maintain build pipelines, and ensure successful application delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support planning and coordination of software releases
Assist in managing build and deployment processes
Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams
Monitor release activities and resolve issues
Maintain release documentation and logs
Support CI/CD pipeline operations
Ensure compliance with release management processes
Track release performance and metrics
Assist in environment preparation for releases
Support continuous improvement of release workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software release, IT support, or DevOps roles
Basic understanding of release management and deployment processes
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of DevOps practices
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
