Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Systems Monitoring Analyst to support system monitoring and performance management. In this role, you will track system alerts, analyze performance metrics, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor IT systems and analyze performance alerts
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions
Maintain monitoring tools and configurations
Track system performance metrics and generate reports
Collaborate with IT and operations teams
Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards
Maintain documentation of monitoring processes
Identify trends and recommend system improvements
Support incident management and escalation processes
Ensure continuous system monitoring and optimization

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in system monitoring, IT operations, or support roles
Basic understanding of system monitoring tools and performance metrics
Familiarity with operating systems and infrastructure concepts
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of incident management processes
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA or ITIL
