Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Clinical Documentation Review Specialist to support documentation accuracy and quality assurance. In this role, you will review patient records, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
Identify and resolve discrepancies in patient records
Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve documentation quality
Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR)
Support audits and quality assurance processes
Maintain documentation reports and records
Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information
Assist in reporting and documentation improvement initiatives
Support overall clinical documentation processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
1–3 years of experience in clinical documentation or healthcare roles
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Knowledge of clinical documentation standards
Basic understanding of EHR systems
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital or clinical settings
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation improvement
Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
Experience with documentation audits
Certification in clinical documentation (preferred)
