Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Release Coordinator to support release management and deployment activities. In this role, you will coordinate software releases, ensure proper documentation, and help maintain efficient release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating software release schedules
Maintain release documentation and version tracking
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams
Monitor release progress and report status updates
Support deployment and rollback procedures
Ensure compliance with release management processes
Track issues related to releases and coordinate resolutions
Assist in improving release workflows and automation
Maintain logs and reports for release activities
Support CI/CD processes and tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in release management, QA, or IT roles
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with version control systems and deployment processes
Good analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Understanding of automation tools and scripting
Exposure to release management tools
