Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Specimen Tracking Technician to manage and track laboratory samples. In this role, you will ensure accurate labeling, tracking, and documentation of specimens throughout the testing process.

Key Responsibilities

Track and monitor laboratory specimens from collection to processing
Ensure proper labeling and identification of samples
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Coordinate with lab technicians and healthcare teams
Identify discrepancies and resolve tracking issues
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and protocols
Support sample handling and transportation processes
Maintain specimen tracking systems and logs
Assist in audits and quality assurance processes
Improve tracking and documentation workflows

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field
0–2 years of experience in laboratory or healthcare support roles
Basic understanding of specimen handling and tracking
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in laboratory environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in clinical or diagnostic laboratories
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Knowledge of specimen handling protocols
Understanding of healthcare compliance standards
Strong data tracking and coordination skills
