Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented professional to support oncology patient care coordination initiatives. In this role, you will assist patients throughout their treatment journey, coordinate appointments, manage care plans, and ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate oncology patient appointments, referrals, and treatment schedules

Assist patients with care navigation, follow-ups, and support services

Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation

Communicate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and patient families

Support insurance verification and financial assistance coordination

Monitor patient progress and continuity of care

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations

Track patient coordination metrics and prepare reports

Assist in improving care coordination workflows

Enhance patient experience and quality of care services

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field

1–3 years of experience in healthcare coordination, patient services, or medical administration

Basic understanding of oncology workflows or healthcare systems

Knowledge of patient scheduling, referrals, and medical documentation

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EHR/EMR systems

Familiarity with oncology treatment processes

Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and patient privacy standards

Basic understanding of insurance processes and healthcare financial coordination

Relevant certifications such as CMAA, medical administrative support, or similar
