Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Infrastructure Monitoring Specialist to oversee system monitoring and infrastructure performance. In this role, you will analyze alerts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous system availability.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor IT infrastructure systems and analyze alerts
Troubleshoot system and network issues
Maintain monitoring tools and configurations
Track performance metrics and generate reports
Collaborate with IT and operations teams
Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards
Maintain documentation of monitoring processes
Identify trends and recommend improvements
Support incident management and escalation processes
Ensure continuous monitoring and optimization of systems

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring, IT operations, or support roles
Basic understanding of system and network monitoring tools
Familiarity with operating systems and infrastructure concepts
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of incident management processes
Relevant certifications such as ITIL or CompTIA
