Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Infection Prevention Nurse (RN) to support infection control programs and ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards. In this role, you will monitor infection risks, implement prevention strategies, and promote a safe clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and prevent the spread of infections within healthcare settings
Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with safety standards
Educate healthcare staff on infection control practices
Investigate infection cases and identify sources
Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient safety
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support regulatory inspections and quality improvement initiatives
Promote a safe and hygienic clinical environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–4 years of experience in infection prevention or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
Experience in hospital or clinical settings
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Knowledge of epidemiology and disease prevention
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
