Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatric Recovery Nurse (RN) to support children recovering from medical procedures and surgeries. In this role, you will monitor recovery, manage pain, and ensure safe and effective post-treatment care.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor pediatric patients during recovery phases
Administer medications and manage pain control
Assess patient conditions and report changes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Provide support and education to patients and families
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Respond to recovery-related complications promptly
Maintain a safe and child-friendly care environment
Support overall pediatric recovery processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–4 years of experience in pediatric or post-operative nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of pediatric care and recovery procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pediatric recovery or PACU settings
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
