Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Post-Operative Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients recovering from surgery. In this role, you will monitor patient conditions, manage pain, and support recovery in post-operative settings.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor patients recovering from surgical procedures
Administer medications and pain management treatments
Assess patient conditions and report changes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on recovery care
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Respond to post-operative complications promptly
Maintain a safe and clean recovery environment
Support patient recovery and rehabilitation processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in post-operative or surgical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of post-surgical care and recovery procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in PACU or surgical recovery units
Certifications such as BLS or ACLS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
