Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized IT Service Desk Operations Coordinator to manage service desk workflows and support IT operations. In this role, you will coordinate support activities, monitor service performance, and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate service desk operations and support activities
Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution
Track service performance metrics and generate reports
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues
Maintain documentation of processes and workflows
Support incident and request management processes
Ensure compliance with IT policies and service standards
Assist in scheduling and resource allocation
Identify process improvements for service delivery
Support continuous optimization of IT support operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in IT service desk or operations roles
Strong understanding of IT support processes
Basic knowledge of ticketing systems and IT tools
Good analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tools like ServiceNow or Jira
Familiarity with ITIL processes
Basic knowledge of system administration
Understanding of service performance monitoring
Relevant certifications such as ITIL (preferred)
